Privacy Policy
TXIPTV is built to keep your playlists and provider logins on your own device. This page explains exactly what that means, and what changes if you create an account.
Last updated 22 September 2026
Who we are
TXIPTV is operated by TXGAMING OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (registry code {{ registry code }}, registered address {{ registered address }}). For anything in this policy, contact tx@txgaming.ee.
Because we are established in the EU, our processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where this policy says "we", it means TXGAMING OÜ acting as data controller.
The short version
- The player works with no account. Used that way, your playlists and provider credentials never leave your device and we never receive them.
- This website loads no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from our own domain, not a font CDN.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- An account is optional. It exists only so your saved sources can reach your other devices.
Using the player without an account
The desktop app stores your playlists, portal logins and viewing history in a local database on your computer. The browser version stores them in your browser's own storage. In both cases this data stays on the device and is not transmitted to us.
When you play a stream or load a programme guide, your device contacts your provider directly — the company whose playlist or portal you configured. We are not a party to that connection and cannot see it. Those providers have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
This website
What we store in your browser
One item: a key named txiptv-theme recording whether you chose the light or dark theme. It is set only when you press the theme button, it contains no identifier, and it never leaves your browser. It is not a cookie and is not used for tracking.
Server logs
Our web server records ordinary request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent — which are necessary to operate the site securely and to detect abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are retained for {{ retention period }} and then deleted.
What we do not do
No analytics platform, no tag manager, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no cross-site tracking, and no embedded third-party fonts or media. This is why the site shows no cookie banner: there is nothing non-essential to consent to.
If you create an account
Accounts are not open yet. When they are, this is what an account will involve:
- Email address and password. Needed to create and secure the account. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash — never in a form we can read.
- Your saved sources. If you turn on syncing, the playlists and provider credentials you choose to sync are stored on our servers, encrypted at rest, so they can reach your other devices. You can delete them at any time.
- Linked devices. A record of the devices you have paired, so you can see and revoke them.
- Payment data, only if you subscribe. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach our servers. We keep only the subscription status and processor reference.
The lawful basis for account data is performance of a contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Account data is deleted when you delete your account, except where we must keep billing records to meet Estonian accounting obligations.
Provider credentials are the most sensitive thing an account can hold, and we treat them accordingly: encrypted at rest, never written to logs, and never used for any purpose beyond delivering them back to your own devices.
Processors and where data is held
We use a small number of service providers to run the service: {{ hosting provider and region }}for servers, {{ payment processor }} for subscriptions, and {{ email provider }} for account emails. Each acts as a processor under a data processing agreement and may only handle data on our instructions. Data is held in the European Economic Area unless stated otherwise for a specific processor.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to how we process it;
- export it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent, where consent was the basis for processing.
Write to tx@txgaming.ee and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or to the supervisory authority where you live.
Children
TXIPTV is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
When accounts, syncing or subscriptions launch, this policy will be updated before those features are switched on, and the date at the top will change. Material changes affecting account holders will be announced by email.
